Healthcare

Healthcare people can
actually navigate.

Clinics, telemedicine services and public-health bodies arrive with the same two problems: expertise that is hard to explain, and journeys that are easy to abandon. We design for the moment a worried person is looking for one answer.

What gets in the way in healthcare

The constraints
we plan around.

  1. 01

Patients give up between the steps

Booking, intake and follow-up usually sit in three separate systems. Every handoff is a place someone abandons the screen and phones instead.

  2. 02

Clinical language reads as a wall

Specialist accuracy and plain reading are not opposites, but they have to be written for separately. Most sites pick one and lose the other audience.

  3. 03

    Trust has to arrive early

Credentials, regulators and named clinicians are what this sector is judged on, and they are usually three clicks into an About page.

  4. 04

    Data handling shapes the interface

Consent, records and messaging are design constraints from the first wireframe, not a compliance review bolted on before launch.

What we build here

The work,
in your terms.

Patient journeys, clinical platforms, and the trust signals this sector is judged on.

  • 01

    Patient-facing websites

Service explanation, clinician profiles and enquiry routes that hold up for a first-time patient and a referring professional at the same time.

  • 02

    Telemedicine and care products

Onboarding, scheduling, consultation, history and prescriptions designed as one journey instead of five disconnected screens.

  • 03

    Evidence-led content platforms

Editorial structure for research, guidance and public-health material, so specialist depth stays navigable as it grows.

  • 04

    Accessibility in the build

Contrast, focus order, target sizes and screen-reader structure tested on the shipped site, not assumed from the design file.

Questions we get asked

The things you’d ask
on the first call.

Do you work with regulated patient data?

We design around it. Consent, storage and access get scoped with your compliance lead before interface work starts, and we build to whatever regime applies to you. We are not a compliance consultancy, and we will say so rather than sign off on something outside our remit.

Can you work with the patient management system we already use?

Usually. Most of the healthcare work we do integrates with something already in place rather than replacing it. We map the integration during discovery, so its cost is known before the build is committed.

How long does a healthcare website take?

A focused website is typically eight to twelve weeks from kickoff. A patient product with scheduling and records is longer, and we would rather stage it than put one number against a scope that is still moving.

Who writes the clinical copy?

We write the structure, the plain-language layer and the journey. Clinical accuracy stays with your team, and the review step goes into the schedule early so it is not the thing holding launch.
