UI/UX design

Design that earns the click —
and keeps it.

We research the people who will actually use the thing, design the journey they need, and hand engineering a system precise enough to build from.

What it covers

The work,
itemised.

We turn complex products into intuitive journeys through research, product thinking, interface design, and rigorous prototyping.

  • 01

    Product & UX research

Interviews, competitor teardowns and analytics review, so the first wireframe answers a question we have evidence for rather than one we assumed.

  • 02

    Information architecture

Structure, naming and navigation decided before any screen is styled — the layer that decides whether people find what they came for.

  • 03

    Interface design

Web and mobile screens designed to the pixel, in a type and colour system that holds up across every state, breakpoint and edge case.

  • 04

    Design systems

Components, tokens and usage rules documented so the tenth screen costs a fraction of the first and stays consistent when someone else builds it.

  • 05

    Usability testing

Prototypes put in front of real users before the build starts, when changing a flow costs an afternoon instead of a sprint.

How we work

Four steps, and
you see all of them.

  1. 01

    Understand

We map the business goal, the audience and the constraints, then agree what success looks like in numbers.

  2. 02

    Structure

Flows, sitemap and wireframes. Everything argued out in grey boxes while it is still cheap to change.

  3. 03

    Design

Visual direction, then full screens and the system behind them, reviewed with you at each milestone.

  4. 04

    Validate and hand over

Prototype testing, then a build-ready file with specs, states and assets that engineering can work from without guessing.

Questions we get asked

The things you’d ask
on the first call.

How long does a UI/UX project take?

A focused product or website design runs six to ten weeks from kick-off to handover. Research depth and the number of unique screens move that more than anything else, and we give you a fixed range after a scoping call rather than a number before one.

Do you design in Figma?

Yes. You get the working file, not a flattened export — components, variables and prototype links included — so your team can keep building in it after the engagement ends.

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Often, yes. If the guidelines cover digital properly we design inside them. If they were written for print, we will tell you where they break on screen and propose the smallest set of additions that fixes it.

Do you build what you design?

We can. Our software development team builds from our own design files regularly, which removes the handover gap entirely. If you have in-house engineers we hand over to them instead and stay available through the build.
